The cold weather has arrived and with it the start of our autumn/winter tradition.  The other night we fired up the sauna,and afterwards had some little sandwiches and tea.  On Sunday night we lit a fire and reinstated our tradition of reading by the fire.  We are currently reading an incredible book called, "Hugo Cabret". Not only is the story totally captivating but the pencil drawings are incredible.  I’ve never seen a book designed like this.  There are so many pictures and it enhances the story so much.  The drawings are always on their own pages so it doesn’t interfere with the story.  Please enjoy this book with the children you love or just read it by yourself. Truly a great find.
