Well it is finally here ……a bakery that isn’t in a grocery store.  Sweet Celebrations opened this morning with wonderful coffee,pastries,muffins,cakes, and bagels. I went there after I dropped the kids at school.

Susie called to tell me "Your pastry place is open." As she was calling I was inside getting a pumpkin muffin.  Great minds think a like. Bon appetit

I would like to thank all of the cafe staff and faculty at Fort Craig for making such a great Thanksgiving feast today.  I look forward to this day every year when half of the town shows up to eat a Thanksgiving lunch with their children.  It was good seeing everybody and having a few minutes to share in some fine conversations.

Next week is the big Thanksgiving feast here.  This means I will have to clean off my diningroom table 🙂

This is one of our favorite holidays here. So you can bet that next week I will be posting about all of the preparations and fun to come.
