Homecomings

What a great day.  Zaina came home from college this morning.  We started cooking at eight a.m.  Ruth, susie, and I rolled about 160 grape leaves. Then everyone came home from school at noon.  We got pizza and more and more friends dropped by to help cook and say hello. Gloria and Kathy came in the afternoon to help the rest of us make stuffing and spinach pies. The house smells so great. As we continued to cook people were coming in through the front door and the back door.  It was so wonderful to see the college kids come home.  They are so grown up now. Not the 7 year olds I remember.  We said a warm welcome to Courtney, Abbey, and Hope.  We were also glad that Ethan,Seth,Logan, and Gillian spent the afternoon with us as well. Last but not least a visit from Diane,Karen and Karlie really made our day.  Tomorrow I will post pictures of the actual feast.  I’m so thankful for all of the wonderful people in my life.  May you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving with wonderful food and memories to last a lifetime. For my family who I miss so much, I love you and we will talk tomorrow.
