Over the holidays the first of the 'big girls" got married. I've known Nadine since she was a very little girl. Like my husband she is Lebanese and so a big Lebanese wedding was in order. The night before the wedding the women throw a Henna Party. Here, the bride gets to eat, dance, and have henna decorations put on her hands for her wedding the next day. It is so fun to go to one of these parties and totally mesmerizing to watch the henna being placed on the hands.
