365: A Year of Good Things

The Year of Good things Project
Inspired by an incredible 15 year old girl, who emailed friends and family asking them to join her in recording one good thing each day in 2011.

In her own words :

“How many times do you think about the good things that happen in a day or a year or even your whole life? When I asked myself this, my answer was not enough. So this year, I want to try harder. I am going to pick just 1 good thing that has happened to me each day and record it. Whether it is written, photographed, scrapbooked, blogged or emailed to friends, I hope to have 365 good things by the end of 2011.”

My friend Stephinie is hosting a year of gratitude. She has extended this invitation which I immediately embraced. Here’s her invite:

“We would be honored to have any of you join us for the journey. You can record your good thing any way you like, but if you choose to photograph some of those things we would love to have you share them in the 365: A Year of Good Things Flickr Group. Each Sunday I will share a few photos from the flickr group here at Gypsy Forest.

The goal is to record one good thing for each day of 2011, but if you stumble upon this post later in the year and feel inspired to record some goodness, we’d love to have you join us late too!”

What will a year of gratitude and beautiful things look like? I just have to find out. Below, you will find my daily changing list of things I am thankful for. Just click on the item to see the photo.
