I am what I am

Thank you Gay and Lester for yet another fabulous Halloween.  Omar got a lot of candy.  I think he ate as much as he brought home. Miriam went out with the other high school kids and collected cans of food for the foodbanks.  The crosscreek neighborhood collected 280 cans of food.  That is about 5 cans per house.Good job guys.  All of the city combined collected 1/2 a semi-truck filled with food.  Kudos to the kids.

My fandango costume didn’t work out so I had to come up with something last minute.  We have many costumes lurking around the house. The one that really spoke to me was that viking hat we bought from viking world at 50 % off a couple of years ago. Thanks to Omar who let me borrow his sword and shield.

  1. Hi Valarie I feel like I have glimpsed into your soul for just a moment as I was looking at the pictures of your gardens and reading your reflections. Wes keeps telling me how impersonal the web is. . . I beg to differ. I feel like we have been sharing secrets on your porch! Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your family!
    All the best,
