So here we are…..Friday…..that means it's time for Wreck this Journal. It was a very surprising journey this week. Some pages just terrified me. Like "Place Sticky Things Here," and "Do a really ugly drawing using ugly drawing material such as poop." I didn't realize I had a comfort zone concerning certain things so I was thankful for the discovery. This said I ventured to a couple of pages that I did feel comfortable doing. I didn't start at the beginning. I started numbering the pages as I finished them. This will not be linear numbering. So I thought that was kind of fun.

Here's what I got done this week.

    Oooh, I like your triangular fruit sticker! I’m going to have to keep my eye out for cool shapes!
    I’ve got to go back and look at my pages – I thought it was you could make a picture of something like poop not with something like poop! I have a comfort zone around that too!

    Beautiful–and so inspiring! I feel so much better seeing/reading that almost everyone is having a little resistance–having resistance, yet pushing through. Wonderful!

    It’s all a work in progress, isn’t it? I am the Queen of Anal, hardly being able to bring myself to sully and crumple. But I’m making progess. Baby steps…

    LOL! I read it that way at first too! It’s “draw something like poop” not with poop! That would be plain gross and no way I would do it. I love your doodling! 🙂

    LOLLLLLLL! Oh how funny. I was thinking that if I did the page the way I interpreted it that it would have to be the last page I did because it would stink so bad. 🙂 Very funny.

    The triangular fruit sticker is from the strawberry box. Neat huh? It was make a picture like poop. I read it wrong which has since given me a very huge laugh.!!!!! At least I won’t have to go out of my comfort zone on that one. 🙂

    I’m so glad that this issue has been talked about — I totally thought we were supposed to use the ugly subject matter to produce the drawing. I was unsure how a badly drawn bird was part of that, though. haha
    I’m much happier now that I know I don’t have to draw with mold or poo. Whew!
    I love the idea of numbering as you finish the page.
    The ideas are flowing! Thank you and congrats on your wreck!
