The Yellow House Cafe

Visby day 2 059

It is fairly well known that I love coffee. There isn't a day without a cup or two of the liquid elixir. Gula Huset (The yellow house) is one of the nicest secret treasures of Visby. Open only on saturday and sunday afternoons. This is a lovely retreat to spend a time reading a book, conversating with friends, or just catching some rays.

A walk by the sea,

  1. Wow, I want to be sitting there right now, book in hand, and sipping a hot cop of coffee. What a divine spot.

  2. Good morning Valarie
I am up Early with our new puppy and quite frankly was going straight back to bed when I dedided to come and visit. Well, I have just LOVED my read…You have the most wonderful dreamy blog. I would love to travel like this. I also have three children and the thought of overseas travel has been put on hold. Olivia (my youngest) is turning 7 yrs and I am itching to explore. Our first trip to Germany was with two babies and it killed Andrews desire to travel…I hope he has his groove back as I am about bursting to see all these lovely places. Thank you so much for visiting my blog this week.
    Happy day to you
    Warm regards
    Suzanne

  6. Hi Suzanne, Thanks so much for stopping by. Travelling with children is different and I do it all the time even when they were young. 7 is a great age. We found it more economical to rent little vacation apartments and become part of the city or place we are visiting. I hope Andrew gets his travel groove back soon. It’s so worth it. Take care and I’ll stop by soon again.
