We had been warned all week by our friendly weather people that snow was coming, "1-5 inches" they said and bitterly cold too.
The rest of my long weekend was history.
Into warm clothes.
Out of wet ones.
Bake something
and so it went for three whole days. That was my weekend, how was yours?
There was an incredible highlight in the weekend however, when I cut out about a thousand felt circles. Why you ask? Well that's a secret for another day …..
I can’t wait to sewe what those felt circles will become!
We have had some real cold weather lately, and I do so feel like all that we have been doing is getting from woolens and snow clothes, into dry jammies and slippers. This is winter, I suppose.

We were baking these really healthy dried fruit and grain bars. They are so dry! It’s more like a desert instead of dessert.
