Hello Valarie,
What a wonderful sight this is to see boys building and imagining and getting lost in it all. I think I recognize those Star Wars figures on that table! 🙂 Aren’t boys just so wonderful?

Hello Valarie
The first thing that catches my eye is your beautiful Steinway grand/ baby grand in the back ground..I have one too. The sound is heavenly. Mine has an incredible history to it. I can see the boys are lost in play..
Have a lovely day Valarie.

Please can you tell me and my little monkey what the name of that creation toy is. He is very excited to know. We have lots of lego but I have never seen that toy. I adore your rug. It is exactly the rug I want and cannot have- I posted today about why I will not be getting a gorgeous rug like yours.

These are called K’nex and they are so much fun, especially when you have a very serious builder in the house.

Hi Ren,
The name of this toy is called K’nex. They have little sets and big sets. You can get them at Target, Wal Mart and even at amazon.com.
Thanks for your kind words about my rug. I got it about 10 years ago at an auction for $50 dollars. It’s a favorite of mine as well. Thanks for stopping by. It’s so nice to see you.

Thank you so much. My little man’s birthday is April first- This will make him so happy. He is crazy for Magnetex (SP?) too and we have hundreds of them. I wonder if this is the same company.
Such a great find- the rug for you, your blog for me.
