Whats in that pot over there?

Would you believe diamonds?

Pipe- cleaners fold in half and twisted down to make a heart. 3 tbsp of borax per 1 cup water.

Boil water, add borax, take off heat, add pipe-cleaner hearts, and let it set over night, to pull out these beauties.

and now we have a beautiful heart ring to place in our fairy garden.

and here's the little man who keeps adding beauty to our world.

    What a great project. My son wants to be a Lapidary when he grows up so we have done many projects to make crystals. Usually they take some time so I really appreciate an immediate result type of crystal making project. I will show him this and let you know!

    Amazing! Those look almost like the real deal, and I’m sure little girls would just giggle at the sight of that! You know, those would make wonderful decorations for the Christmas tree.
