Though sometimes life is a little bumpy and can feel like it's hitting you with stones,

we can always take those stones and "make" a moment to reflect in their lessons.

One by one in their individual beauty, we place them into a continous line.

wow, that’s really pretty. It reminds me that if I don’t do that myself, I should go to the arboretum and walk the labyrinth there!

This is such a beautiful idea. I think that the kids would really love the setting of stones. I might do this for myself too!

It is a great way to calm things down in excited children. Stone by stone and then placing and lighting the candles brings a sense of calm to my little family. Enjoy.

Hi Liz or should I say Hej Liz? Well you know there are the big holidays of Jul, Midsommar, och Påsk? Which we do in complete Swedish style. We also celebrate the lesser known holidays such as waffle day, martin’s goose, etc. Then there are the nuances of being Swedish which include being outdoors alot. Having Fika at least once a day, usually 3;15 for us here. Preparing and eating meals together, name days, stories as the center of our family time, and extreme crafting such as knitting, sewing, weaving, stuffed animals making etc. All of these things I learned from my parents and their families. Let me know if you need more specifics. I’m really enjoying reading your blog. You have a beautiful family and a beautiful heart. Take care och glad helg.
