Searching For Summer: June 2nd

We are participating in Searching for Summer. Well we've found it. Over the long weekend we found ourselves picking strawberries, making jam, watching hay being cut, and the start of the lavender harvest. Oh how we love all things summer.

  3. hooray for strawberries! i don’t know if there is anything i love more than herbs hanging. : ) we’ve been reading a lot of peter rabbit lately, so i can’t help but think ‘rabbit tobacco’. do you know of any other in-between-ish books for a 2.5 year old? he loves beatrix potter!

  4. Hi Kendra,
Peter Rabbit is the best because the books are so little. I have this endless list of books for 2-3 year olds. I hope he finds some fun moments in these. I’m just listing the titles. If you need authors let me know.
Corduroy,Goodnight Moon,Caps for Sale,Chicka chicka BoomBoom, The Rainbow Fish, We’re going on a Bear Hunt, Blueberries for Sal, If you give a mouse a cookie, Make Way for ducklings, Pat the Bunny, Mike Mulligan and his steam shovel, EachPeach Each Pear, The very hungry caterpillar, and The Little House.
This is just a start. Let me know when you need more ideas. Enjoy and happy reading. /Valarie
