Aaah. My kiddos are trying to convince me (for years now) to get a dog. If they saw this cute photo, they’d be all over me once again 🙂

I hope you have a good weekend too Kate. The pumpkin soup is divine and it freezes well. This makes quite a lot. Enjoy.

Aww – that is a beautiful image. The bigger dog has such gorgeous markings on her coat – I had seen your previous puppy post and meant to say that. xx

Hello Valarie
Lookng through your reading list I see a book I am eargerly awaiting in the post. ‘Sewing with a french twist’…I have this french and scandinavian thread running through my veins lately. I also brought ‘sew scandinavian’ and ‘french general’. Not much time to sew or knit but the books keep coming in. I am a confessed horder for a rainy day. Keeping the pumpkin veg soup for dinner sometime this week coming.
Enjoy your Sunday my friend

Hello Again Valarie
Oh my I have got to tell you how wonderful your blog is looking. I have been reading through your archives and came across your music posts. How proud you must be of Mimi Valarie. What a beautiful talented lady. You too are a wonderful Mother and teacher. I spent many of my younger years singing in the Cape Town Symphony choir. I get the shivers seeing the threatre Mimi performed in. Its a culture all on its own. I too am off to purchase ‘Raising sand’ sounds good.
A happy day to you
