Tuesday Through My Winter Window

I'm joining Julie for the winter edition of Tuesday Through My Window.

With the first of advent passing by on Sunday, the wooden stars have been placed in the windows. I love the flicker of soft lights this time of year.

3rd Advent 009
The weather has been a mix of very warm and then turning to very cold and then back to warm again. From my kitchen window I see the shirt fluttering in the air to let me know that someone is in his tree house.

Ah yes, there they are, the boy and some friends.

To be honest with you, I'm eagerly awaiting snow. Let's hope by next week I will be able to show you "first snow" photos.

  1. Love your wooden star! It’s gorgeous! And love the use of the shirt as a flag- very funny!
We have had some snow in the last few days (unusual for central England this time of year) and they’ve promised more towards the end of the week.

  8. Hi there. Snow has been on my mind as well. We have the cold, but just rain today, alas. Glad the bird has found a happy perch in your home.

  10. Thanks Tonya. My little guy built this treehouse using recycled supplies. It took him an entire summer. He had so much fun.

  11. Hi Julie,
I love seeing what’s outside everyone’s windows. My boy built this treehouse himself using recycled supplies off of construction jobs, the forest, and things lurking in our basement.

We have a couple of snow flurried today. Have you ever seen snow? I imagine it doesn’t snow at all where you are.

  16. Dearest sweet Valarie, i was lucky to experience and see snow when i was in states and also on my vacations to visit my mister and his family in Hamburg, Germany. I really adore winter. ๐Ÿ™‚ It doesn’t snow at all here in Malaysia…it’s summer all year long. I hope first snow arrives soon for you! Love to you!

  18. well it won’t be long, until snow. that’s for sure. I wouldn’t mind a little sparkly dusting of the white stuff. Not so much that I’d have to go shovel, though. not yet.
