A Traveller’s Tale

It started off in a fish bowl. There I met many of the friends I visit and chat with daily. All of us creative mavens, but mostly, all of us live very far apart. As the years have gone by, we've swapped different lovlies, watched our children and art grow, created together, and have just lived.

Emily of Mousy Brown's House and I have been wanting to meet up for some time now. Would it be at Scwam? Would it be on my side of the pond, the US, or on her side of the pond, the UK? Would it be solo or with our families? We had a world of possibilites until finally one day I said,"I'm coming. When should I come? That's when Em said,"Why not come for my 40th birthday? We could make it a long weekend."

It was all very enticing because as you know I'm a fiber addict and her parties in a yarn shop.

So today my bags are packed and within one hour I'll be at the airport on my way to Wales. I've never been to Wales and I'm very excited about it. Get ready for the adventures of Em and Val. So for the rest of this week and during the weekend I will be off but then on Tuesday I'll head to Paris to spend a few days in my favorite city. There, I plan to reconnect and share a few traveller's tale. Until then, be well.
