Ah finally home again to a very sunny Tennessee. There is something so wonderful about travel. I see things through such a magnified lenses, that the ordinary become extraordinary simply by being in different surroundings.
Emily was right there to gather me from the airport. We had such a wonderful time over the next five days. So many happy moments were captured on camera and off and true bonds of friendship were forged. We both said on several occasions that we wished I lived down the street.
Wales and England greeted me with it's customary fog. Below freezingleft this foggy wonderland frozen as well. All along the hedges had little icicles and patches of ice. A very different version of a winter wonderland.
While the fog continued Em and I sat down for some of her wonderful soup and bread and of course great conversation.
By late afternoon it was time to walk the dog and witness the most beautiful of sunsets.
Amy, asked for a photo of Em and so here it is. ๐
Aren't I naughty? Amy and all of our blogging friends, I promise you some great photos tomorrow from the great birthday party we had for Emily's birthday. More tomorrow and happy weekend.
