Bryn-Y-Grog is the local "junk" shop. Uh, I don't know about you but a junk shop that starts out looking like this might need to go by another name.
This fine shop is not housed in the manor but in the outbuilding just next door.
From the minute you enter the shop one is immediately touching things saying"Oooh look at that, Ah that's so neat."
Can you find the Swedish twine in the picture below? Isn't it amazing how my eyes can just land on the only Swedish thing in the whole room?
Adding to the cliche myth that Americans love everything "Royal", I walked away with three commemorative mugs. Two of King George VI and one of Queen Elizabeth II's silver jubilee. They will make great conversation pieces as I scarf down tea and cake. 🙂 Unfortunately I don't have any photos of them because they are on their way home. Until then I'll just leave you with this photo while you wait. Many thanks Emily for sending my lovely little mugs. I just loved this place.
