I've taken one more week of blog vacation with my little family. That very hot sticky weather has turned into these beautiful balmy days of summer. I just had to participate.
Summer is quickly coming to an end but before it does there is one little treasure I'd like to share with you. Last Spring I had the most distinct pleasure of participating in a survey course of Anthroposophy with Dr. Rick Tan. He is such an incredibly talented man but also a kind and compassionate teacher, a true mentor.
For the sake of disclosure I wanted to let you know that I have been so kindly invited into The Five Spheres of Waldorf Education. Truly, I am so excited to study once again under Dr. Rick's tutelage. This is going to be an incredible experience.
The Five Spheres of Waldorf education encapsulates the sweeping themes of this educational movement: Self, Relationships, Balance, Rhythm, and
Course. In the five-week seminar offered at Little Acorn Learning, Dr. Rick Tan will discuss one sphere per week and the relevant topics in
anthroposophy and Waldorf that are connected with the sphere.
Dr. Rick Tan is an artist, musician, and graphic designer. He was a homeschooling parent and currently is the seventh grade teacher at Davis Waldorf
School.
