Glad Midsommar to everyone. Today Swedes everywhere are celebrating midsummer. Please come see exactly how it's done over at Rhythm of the Home.
{This Moment} A friday tradition. A single moment you want to hold onto forever. A photo without words.

Happy Solstice. I love your pictures of this wonderful, colorful celebration! It could not be more festive. I am inspired by the way Scandinavians celebrate Midsummer.
I posted pictures from my own local solstice gathering here:

And I have a silly “moment” (or two) up here:

Glad Midsommar Valarie! I still remember the celebrations I attended in Sweden (Malmo) when I was 11 (longer ago than I like to think!) the colours, the dancing and and joy are still as clear to me today. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures and taking me back to that time xxx

Loved that Rhythm of the Home post, Valarie! Swedish Midsummer has so much in common with Finnish, but it is still so very different and unique. I think we’ll have to make sure we spend midsummer with the Swedish relatives one of these days. All that maypole dancing looks like so much fun!!
