Snowflakes
By David Kuhrt
Snowflakes
White as frozen light
Where darkness dies
And heaven lies
Incarnate on the ground.
Yesterday afternoon the forecast called for rain but instead fell the most lovely snow I've ever scene. The largest, fluffiest snowflakes covered the ground. It seemed life had turned into a snow globe.
Along with snow was my husband's birthday and now today it's Three King's Day. King cake is a tradition here in the south but since my body is in a state of" renewal" I will not be eating any.
As a child this day didn't really mean anything to me but as an adult I look at it as a time to acknowlege the inner journey. My friend Eileen from Little Acorn Learning has written and produced the most lovely e-book about the Three King holiday and the ephiphanies this day can hold for you and your family. Inside there are stories, songs, recipes, poems, crafts, and by the time you've finished you will have had a complete journey into the light of Ephiphany. Also contributing are ~ Jodie Mesler, Home Music Making, Jennifer Tan, Syrendell, and me.

When I finished reading the e-book I felt so inspired. It left me wanting to go out and create light in my work, community, and home. To have a look for yourself, head over here.

Here's wishing you peace, joy, and love on this Three King's Day.
